Driving Success for Access Models
Access Models are a leading model retailer with a huge online catalogue, stocking everything from kits to accessories. They came to us for a CRO audit, but it quickly became clear that their needs ran deeper.

Shopify Rebuild
About The Project
From outdated theme to streamlined shopping and reliable tracking
Their store was running on a custom-built theme outside of Shopify’s theme repository, making updates difficult, tracking unreliable, and user experience inconsistent. With over 25,000 products spread across a large number of collections, they needed a site that could handle scale while staying easy to navigate.
Our CRO audit highlighted a series of issues: a poor navigation structure that made product discovery harder than it should be, a theme that was slowing them down operationally, and incorrect conversion rate tracking that made measuring success almost impossible.
While we could have recommended incremental fixes, it was clear the best approach was to replatform the store on a robust, supported Shopify theme, creating a clean slate for growth.

The Challenge
Their previous setup created bottlenecks in almost every area.
Large catalogue stores need precision in navigation, search, and performance to keep users moving toward purchase. Instead, customers were struggling to find what they wanted, and the site wasn’t making the most of trust-building features. The internal team also faced challenges; routine updates were slow, theme changes were risky, and the absence of accurate tracking meant they were flying blind on conversion performance.

Solution
We rebuilt the store on a new, fully supported Shopify theme optimised for large inventories. The navigation was redesigned with a clear, multi-level megamenu to help customers explore thousands of products effortlessly.
We introduced features to improve the buying experience and build trust, including a wishlist tool, real-time stock and delivery estimates, and a “No Missing Parts Promise” to reassure customers before they hit checkout. The new theme also fixed the broken conversion tracking, giving the business reliable, actionable data for the first time in months.

The Outcome
Access Models now have a store that works as hard as they do. Customers can browse 25,000+ products with ease, discover new ranges quickly, and buy with confidence.
The internal team can make updates without worrying about compatibility issues, and accurate tracking gives them the insight they need to keep improving. It’s a platform designed to support them not just now, but as they continue to grow.
